The famous radio host, Dr. Michael Savage says liberalism is a mental disorder. However, I believe there are a lot of good things about classical liberalism. What I will say is that progressivism is a mental disorder. This has become all the more alarmingly clear in the wake of the Trump assassination attempt. Progressive Reaction to Trump Assassination Attempt
The progressives in my social circle were despondent over the shooting. Not because a former president was nearly assassinated on live TV. But because if the bullet had been just a few centimeters over it would have eliminated the cause of their extreme hatred. All would be right with the world. This became abundantly clear when the day after the shooting I was talking to a mild-mannered elderly woman. She probably has never even been in an argument in her life. However, her wish was that if only the Trump assassination attempt had succeeded and he just kept his head still at that moment the bullet may have landed.
But you don’t have to take my word for it. Users of X posted very similar statements, echoing this throughout social media. No, I do not believe if Joe Biden were to become within a millimeter of death conservatives would be celebrating this. And certainly not in real-life conversation. Yes, you may have a few nutcases on X posting some things but it would be nowhere near garnering the thousands of likes and support we saw here.
The empathetic, caring, compassionate, and morally superior side were supposedly the progressives. What they truly are is everything they claim the other side to be. Their trash platform goes along with their trash morals, which despise anyone who dares to think differently than them. Progressives online were celebrating the death of Corey Comperatore, as it was one less Trump voter in Pennsylvania. Only the truly deranged could celebrate this, yet most of them fearing backlash pulled their tweets down
Take for example Dr. Karen Pinder a Professor at UBC. This shining light who is I’m sure indoctrinating her students to hate America, had this to say of the Trump assassination attempt “Damn, so close, too bad….I really wish the person had better aim, what a glorious day this could have been.” As is typical, she deleted her social media after like a slimy weasel. This is who we have teaching our students? What hope can we have for any future generations? The lowest common denominators and worst of the worst have taken over academia.
Moral Values of Progressives
These past few months have shined a light on the mental disorder that infests progressives. It could be justifying the raping, murdering, and destruction of whole families in Israel. To celebrating the near attempt on Trump’s life. The world has seen the hate unmasked in their hearts for anyone who disagrees with there supposedly morally superior ways.
This Trump assassination attempt was wholly expected as you cannot compare Trump to Hitler for the past decade without expecting people to take it seriously. It goes back to the age-old question often asked, if you could have taken Hitler out before World War II would you have? Of course, the answer would be an empathetic YES!!!! If Trump is supposedly Hitler then you would be within your rights, if not morally obligated to take him out before he regains power. This is the rationale that progressives use to advocate violence while still allowing them to feel good about themselves for being morally superior beings.
But, as anyone without a mental disorder knows, Trump is no Hitler. However, that has not stopped the democratic party from making this comparison for years. Putin is Hitler, Trump is Hitler anytime someone wants to make a lazy argument because they have no real argument to make you can compare them to Hitler.
Those who are celebrating the near assassination of Donald Trump are the same types that would say misgendering them is violence. Or seeing a red MAGA hat is violence. However, actual violence is not violence and is acceptable when it serves their needs.
Going back to the elderly woman I was speaking about at the beginning of the article. In addition to lamenting the fact that the shooter missed, she also believes that nothing is wrong with Biden. He’s perfectly articulate, he has no cognitive decline, his ideas are well thought out and expressed and he’s respected around the globe. Progressivism truly is a mental disorder……
